About Xin Yi Dance Company

Xin Yi Dance Company is a non-profit Chinese Dance Company based in Singapore co-founded by Peter Teo, Ah Sen Hok Fen and Liang Bin in 2015. We strive to promote Chinese Dance through platforms for dancers to practice and perform.

 

Xin Yin Dance Company has performed at dance festivals and events locally and overseas, including Esplanade's Hua Yi festival outdoors, Mauritius Chinatown Food and Culture Festival, Sibu International Dance Festival, Kuala Lumpur Chinese Dance Competition closing ceremony.

Mission

 

Xin Yi Dance Company was founded on the fundamental goal of preserving and promoting Chinese culture.  We support young aspiring dancers through quality training, with the hope of engaging and developing them to become practitioners in their own right.  For these passionate dancers, Xin Yi is also a platform via which they have opportunities to create and stage Chinese dance.

 

 

Vision

 

We aim to establish a professional dance troupe based in strong Chinese dance technique, and recognised for producing and presenting novel works.  We are also working toward hosting a regular dance festival with the motivation of facilitating cross-cultural exchange and creation.
